| Jay Sapovits, Founder & CEO
Most recently, Jay held the position of Vice President for Marquis Jet where he opened the Boston office for the startup private jet company with the Chairman and CEO. Since 2001, Jay directly generated more than $50 million in revenue while participating in key marketing and planning decisions relative to the organization and development of the company. While amassing over 200 clients, Jay has developed a network of relationships which could be considered a "who's who" of business.
Throughout his career, Jay has shown a passion and an ability to identify market gaps and create companies which have long-term sustaining value. Among Jay's career highlights include creating the most successful single day special event of the PGA Tour, The Exelon Invitational hosted by Jim Furyk. This event was created through a series of cold calls that ultimately lead to the commitment to both Jim Furyk and Exelon. In addition to securing Furyk and Exelon, Mr. Sapovits actively sold over $2 million in sponsorships and procured top PGA Tour stars including David Duval, Jesper Parnevik, Joe Durant, Nick Price, Lee Janzen, Sergio Garcia, Davis Love III and Justin Leonard.
After the tournament's inaugural success, it was rolled into an advertising and PR firm, The EFK Group, and sponsorship relationships with groups such as Exelon, Delaware Investments, SEI Investments, Johnnie Walker and GlaxoSmithkline were leveraged into advertising, PR and event revenues. The event in whole was sold to EFK, and Jim Furyk and Exelon recently signed on to assure the event will exist into its 11th year.
Jay is a proud University of Nevada at Las Vegas graduate--during the glory years--and is notably recognized for being the youngest on air host in the history of famed Sports Radio 610 WIP in Philadelphia at 23.
His daily responsibilities at One Key include all facets required as founder of One Key including business development, marketing, sales, and ensuring excellence in service and member satisfaction.
