The moment you step out of your vehicle it is evident that Deer Valley caters to a discerning clientele. From valet parking at the mountain, to fine dining and luxury boutique shopping in the main lodge, Deer Valley is just a cut above the rest. The mountain limits the number of lift tickets sold to avoid overcrowding, and uses more grooming equipment than any of its neighbors to ensure perfect terrain. If you hope to carve this powder you better ski, as Deer Valley prohibits snowboarding. During the 2002 Winter Olympics, Deer Valley hosted the freestyle moguls, aerial, and alpine slalom events. You can catch a morning flight into Salt Lake City international airport and be on the slopes that same afternoon. Deer Valley is also close to Heber City and Park City, two quaint ski towns that offer exciting ski trails. Snowmobile or take a scenic drive for breathtaking panoramic views and capture memorable photos.
